Position General Laborer – Construction Worker (Entry Level, Full‑time, Columbus, OH) Benefits Life Insurance (Paid by the Company) Company 40% 401(k) Match Daily Per Diem (Lodging, Meals, Travel) Room for advancement within the Company Typical Overtime (40‑75 hours) Benefits effective on the first day of employment Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off, Holidays, 401(k), HSA, FSA Tuition Reimbursement & Continuing Education Support Disability, Paid Parental Leave, Identity Theft, Pet Insurance & More Responsibilities Clean and prepare sites for projects Dig ditches, trenches, backfill excavations, level pipes Prepare sites for concrete pours Apply glues, electrical conduits, and fittings for piping Maintain tools and equipment; assist with pulling wire Participate in daily tailgate Health & Safety meetings Understand materials, methods, and tools used on site Understand basic electrical safety requirements Understand construction drawings and prints Assist with pulling and cleaning pumps Weld HDPE pipe and fittings; extrusion weld HDPE liner materials Prepare daily logs for work performed on sites during the workday Qualifications 0‑3 years in general construction Prior construction experience preferred Prior landfill experience preferred Ability to work in various weather conditions Ability to travel up to 90‑100% Valid Driver’s License that meets the MVR policy requirement Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for multiple hours within the workday Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs EEO Statement EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability.
