The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.WHAT YOU’LL DODesign functional HMIs/SCADA screens, that are in line with Anduril internal branding standards using Ignition by Inductive AutomationArchitect SCADA applications that are organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable for high-volume manufacturing applicationsGenerate and enforce internal standards for SCADA systemsIntegrate internal and external manufacturing software into automation equipment and production linesLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term reliabilityPartner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot SCADA issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiativesMust be willing to work off shift or irregular hoursREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilitiesMust be US security clearance eligibleMust be proficient in Ignition by Inductive AutomationBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent and relevant experience6+ years of experience in SCADA and MES applicationsStrong understanding of communications protocols like Rest API, MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, Modbus and BACnetKnowledge and understanding of PLC base control systemsIgnition Gold CertificationProficient in higher level languages like Python and HTMLPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAWS infrastructure understandingUnderstanding of network hardening protocolsCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificationUS Salary Range$146,000—$194,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
