Traveling Dental Hygienist Heartland Dental Primary Location: Briarwood Park Dental Care 95 S Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015 As a Traveling Dental Hygienist , you'll support our exceptional dental teams throughout Illinois, with opportunities to work in locations including Deerfield, Schaumburg, Westmont, and Countryside . Schedule Monday 7:30am-5:00pm (Briarwood Park Dental Care) Tuesday - travel team (your choise on location/hours) Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm (Briarwood Park Dental Care) Thursday - travel team (your choise on location/hours) Friday - OFF (unless you choose to to pick up a shift) Patient Schedule Single column schedule, averaging 7 patients/day 60-minute prophys and recare appointments 60-90 minute SRP appointments 90-minute New Patient appointments If you're looking for a role that offers the flexibility to design your own schedule, earn daily hygiene bonuses, receive paid travel compensation, and enjoy a full benefits package, we'd love to connect with you! Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome! Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
