divh2Job Title/h2pJob Summary/ppEssential Job Functions:/ppAll team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (head on a swivel); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are on stage./ppCollects and counts revenue from various drop sources per MIC and departmental guidelines./ppCounts, sorts and organizes all currency, coin, coupons, chips and paperwork from the drop containers./ppRetrieves drop boxes from the storage area and appropriately stores all boxes and carts./ppLoads currency counters, utilizes the counter interface, and collects, sorts and reconciles counted funds./ppStraps and hand-stamps money bundles./ppTotals all cash, coin, chips, coupons, other monies, and reconciling documents by shift and by day/date./ppEnters count information into various PC based applications. Printing, signing all reconciling documents and verifying their accuracy./ppLoads appropriate boxes into carts and pushes/pulls carts to designated areas for transportation to the casino floor./ppWhen a slot machine is being played at the time of bill validator drop, uses excellent guest service skills to assure the guests satisfaction./ppAccounts for all Count Room keys and ensures compliance with MIC requirements./ppSorts, counts, rolls coin and delivers to the Cashier department./ppCollects and weighs tokens from arcade machines. Returns counted tokens to arcade change machines./ppCollects and counts currency from arcade change machines and takes meter readings./ppCompletes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a timely manner, including scanning of all relevant documentation./ppResponsible for the loading of coin/currency and count of dropped funds for all the casino floor ticket redemption kiosks/ppCommunicates with other departments and the Gaming Control Board to coordinate drop and count schedules./ppCommunicates currency counter maintenance requests to vendor technicians and IT service requests./ppUtilizes a pager to answer service requests from other departments as well as initiate and respond to internal communications with other Count Room employees./ppMaintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion./ppMonitors supply levels and requests supply orders/ppFollows safety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures/ppMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team./ppMust present a well-groomed, professional appearance./ppMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures./ppMust be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed./ppMust be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required./ppPerform other duties as assigned./ppHow You Will Create the Extraordinary/ppPhysical, Mental Environmental Demands:/ppMust be able to maneuver in and around all count rooms./ppMust be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations, including employee conflicts./ppMust be able to perform the job duties of hard count and soft count team members./ppMust be able to push and pull carts and carry up to 75 pounds of boxes filled with currency./ppMust be able to grip objects and have good finger movement when counting and handling currency./ppMust be able to differentiate denominations of chips and authenticity of currency./ppMust be able to stand for extended periods./ppMust be able to operate a computer, ten key adding machine, and money counter./ppMust be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist as necessary./ppMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English./ppMust be able to respond to visual and aural cues./ppMust be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights./ppWhat You Will Need/ppQualifications:/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent required./ppAdding machine, computer terminal operation, and currency counting machine skills helpful./ppBasic mechanical (repair) ability preferred./ppPrior supervisory experience is preferred./ppPrior count room or money handling experience (casino or bank) is preferred./ppMust be able to work all shifts./ppMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team./ppMust present a well-groomed appearance/ppMust be at least 21 years of age./ppMust have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written./ppJob Info/ppJob Identification 78499/ppJob Category Casino/ppJob Schedule Full time/ppLocations Harrahs Oklahoma (On-site)/p/div
