Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal

The Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal supports patent litigation attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case filing through trial and appeal. This role involves managing complex patent litigation matters, including claim construction, Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, Federal Circuit appeals, and Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission. The paralegal will assist with cases filed in U.S. District Courts across multiple jurisdictions, including California, Texas, Delaware, and Massachusetts, while ensuring accuracy and organization in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities include handling court and agency filings, maintaining case materials, managing deadlines, and supporting attorneys on multiple high-priority matters simultaneously.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of intellectual property litigation paralegal experience within a law firm, with substantial experience supporting large patent litigation cases. Strong knowledge of P-TACTS, ECF filing, USPTO Patent Center, and EDIS filing systems is required. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, time management, proofreading, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, Teams, and document management systems is also required. An ABA-approved paralegal certification is mandatory, while a bachelor's degree or additional college coursework is preferred.
