Picker/Packer Associate – Job DescriptionThe Picker/Packer Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or handheld scanning devicesPack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipmentVerify order accuracy, including item count and product codesLabel packages correctly and prepare them for shippingOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or scannersMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow company safety procedures and warehouse protocolsAssist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as neededReport damaged or missing inventory to supervisorsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious warehouse or distribution experience is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsBasic math and reading skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable attendance and punctualitySkills & CompetenciesTime managementTeamwork and communicationOrganizational skillsProblem-solving abilityBasic familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperaturesFrequent walking, bending, lifting, and reachingMay require overtime during peak seasons
