PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position for an Outpatient Physical Therapist, starting as soon as possible. The role involves evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services and will ensure the design of functional treatment programs aimed at effectively reintegrating patients into community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care clearly, accurately, and timely in compliance with guidelines.
• Provide patient education along with guidance to families and coworkers.
• Participate in student program as assigned, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in personal and professional development through continuing education.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and apply performance improvement methodologies to enhance quality of services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• Active and applicable state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR Certification required.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.

Schedule

This position is based on a 5x8.0 schedule, with evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-ups every 30 minutes.
