About the Role
Rick Hinderer Knives is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Shreve, OH. Responsibilities
- Assemble high-quality knives and components according to production specifications and quality standards
- Inspect parts and finished products for defects, tolerances, and overall quality control
- Use hand tools, precision instruments, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the production floor
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Report any equipment issues, defective materials, or process concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to use hand tools, small parts, and precision assembly equipment
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for fine assembly tasks
- Ability to stand, bend, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive work ethic
- High school diploma or GED preferred
