Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
  • Implement Healing Interventions: Use evidence-based techniques to foster improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday tasks
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centric care
  • Educate Patients and Their Caregivers: Provide training to patients and families on therapy methodologies to promote ongoing progress outside the clinical setting
  • Track and Adjust Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track with their rehabilitation
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Support for ongoing education or post-grad certifications
Licenses
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required
Skills
