Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join their team in King of Prussia, PA. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, including premises liability, products liability, trucking, employment, and premises security cases. The attorney will engage in court proceedings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials, with opportunities for direct client interaction and collaboration with adversaries and judges. Duties Represent clients in arbitration, mediation, and trials in state and federal courts. Prepare and draft discovery, pleadings, and motions on behalf of clients. Conduct and defend party depositions. Conduct expert witness discovery and depositions. Evaluate medical issues and prepare causation of injury defense. Advise clients on litigation strategy and dispute resolution plans. Participate in mock trials and focus groups for large value matters. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Draft pretrial and post-trial motions. Requirements Bar license in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Strong research and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organizational and case management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in legal research and writing. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
