Assistant Project Manager

Guldmann Inc., a global leader in safe patient handling solutions, is seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of our installation projects, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver seamless service and support. The Assistant Project Manager Manages the small to mid-size projects from start to finish Collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics Manage project scope and changes Works with stakeholders to meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets Prepares estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of a project Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel Determines needed resources (manpower, storage and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Monitors and tracks all project related items including costs, material billings, installation billings, number of rooms in projects, number of systems shipped (at any point in time), and any other relevant facts related to open projects Responsible for communicating with Installation Manager on various topics including timing of installation of Guldmann products at customer facilities Ensures Guldmann sales personnel are providing the required documentation such as costing sheets and that such sheets provided are filled out accurately and completely Enters project purchase orders timely and accurately Tracks and updates project costs in the M3 ERP system project management module Work with Project Manager and Director of Project Management on all aspects of projects as needed Manage and/or assign project tasks to Project Coordinator and Project Administrator Involved in the processing contract change orders and purchase orders Train and onboard new hires on Project Management Processes Additional Responsibilities All other duties as assigned Benefits Guldmann offers a generous bonus and benefits package. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds.
