Thrift Store Associate

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Thrift Associate with previous experience in a non-profit, merchandising, charitable organization, or volunteer-driven environment.

About the Role

The hours and schedule:

• Part time at 20 25/ eligible for benefits
• 10:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
• There is a possibility that they may work on Tuesday

This position supports the daily operations of our thrift store and plays a key role in helping us further our mission in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing a positive, welcoming shopping experience
• Receive, sort, and organize donated items
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
• Support volunteers working on the sales floor or in the back room
• Operate the cash register and process sales accurately (if applicable)
• Assist with general store upkeep and daily operational tasks
• Uphold the organization's mission and represent our values in all interactions

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a non-profit, thrift store, or volunteer environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
• Reliability, integrity, and a commitment to mission-focused work
• Flexible availability, including some weekends or peak donation periods
