About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: 1 year License: Active state license required. Certifications: ARDMS, BLS Must-Have: - First-timers accepted - Must float within scope across the system Description: The Ultrasound Sonographer position requires performing ultrasound examinations. The shift is Thursday through Sunday, including 8 and 10-hour shifts. The work schedule includes weekends and holidays as needed. On-call duty is required for two shifts per month. Floating within the facility and across the system is expected. No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from any facility. Candidates must indicate any time-off requests at the time of submission and cannot request time off during the first week of employment. Compliance with all facility-specific requirements is mandatory. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Exposure to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, geriatrics is preferred for patient care. The role entails mixed workload between inpatient portables and outpatient exams, including general and pediatric along with some obstetric and vascular ultrasound procedures.
