Become part of a team that provides one of the most exciting functions in The Publicis Media Exchange! The specialist role brings deep expertise to evaluating sports, specials and live events. This role is constantly in tune to the evolving measurement methodologies and provides the foundational data critical to company and client success. As a Specialist, you will:

Stay on top of Local Sports, Specials and Live Event Media

Analyze and provide POV's on sponsorships across multiple clients

Work with Data Analytics team to evaluate recommendations of Event Programming

Learn how to manage timelines successfully and ensure key performance metrics are achieved

Become an expert on the leading local buying platforms and tools

Become an expert on local Sports and Specials nuances

Responsibilities

Be passionate about Local Sports, Specials and Live Event Media

Collaborate with Analytics team to evaluate recommendations of Event Programming, using best in class diagnostics

Collaborate with Brand Agency Strategy and Investment Leadership, contributing ideas and innovation, to continuously grow our industry-leading Event Programming practice

Partner with Analysts, Negotiators and Client Leads to deliver creative and targeted elements to Agreements, ensuring Client objectives are optimized and goals can be measured and met

Collaborate with various Stakeholders involved in Event activation, including Publicis Sports Experts (PSE), the Publicis Media National Team, Client Leadership, Sellers and Financial Resources

Ability to activate media buys in Agency systems, including Mediaocean and Hudson MX

Monitor and deliver Proof of Performance and KPIs for active campaigns at each stage for assigned clients and DMAs-pre-launch, inflight, quarterly, and annually; work jointly with Brand Agency teams on post-performance results as prescribed by our Clients

Be comfortable building presentations and presenting work to a variety of audiences, both in-person and virtually

Be at ease with Sales Management Relationships, recognizing the high stakes of valuable inventory, ensuring you represent the client voice to convey what is needed and how it is delivered

Bring to the role established and clear writing and verbal skills, with the ability to easily socialize often complex data and scenarios, with a solutions-focused approach

Provide any relevant intel in these areas in HOT SHEET to provide useful and beneficial insights and information to our Negotiators and Leads related to Sports, Specials, and other Live Media Events

Become proficient in Marcel and Lion Box, along with other departmental assets

Use AI tools to help summarize market information, vendor proposals, and campaign performance data to support local buying decisions

Use AI to assist with post-buy analysis, billing reviews, reporting, and campaign documentation

Qualifications

1-3 Years in Local Media Investment (specific knowledge in local TV, Cable, Streaming, Audio) with a deep history of Sports, Specials, Live event media

Strong collaboration skills, experience working across groups

Deep, rooted understanding of Local Investment measurement, with forensic expertise in Nielsen & ComScore local data

Strong Presentation skills, including how to build the presentation

Successful project management capabilities, including the know how to prioritize in a fast paced, high-volume environment

Must be proficient in media platforms, specifically Mediaocean

Advanced knowledge and use of Micro Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
