Sr Manager Global Trade Compliance - Trade Programs

Senior Manager responsible for developing and executing global trade compliance strategies, policies, and programs across import/export operations, customs regulations, and supply chain security. Reports to leadership on trade program metrics, risks, and regulatory updates while managing a team and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and standard work documents for global import/export operations
• Manage trade programs including classification, licensing, country of origin, duty optimization, and supply chain security initiatives
• Supervise trade program activities, conduct audits for regulatory adherence, and respond to customs inquiries and audits
• Mentor and develop staff through hiring, goal setting, performance management, and coaching
• Serve as subject matter expert providing customs and trade compliance guidance to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 10+ years managing and building high-performing teams
• In-depth knowledge of customs valuation, HTS classifications, country of origin, and export controls
• Experience leading and maintaining trade compliance programs and FDA importing regulations
• Strong analytical, change management, and risk assessment skills with problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at leadership levels
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
