About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to play a pivotal role in leading and enhancing the clinical excellence of its inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest quality care to patients with complex rehabilitative needs, including those recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and other medically debilitative conditions. This role involves direct patient care, supervising and mentoring nursing staff, and actively participating in unit operations. The Chief Nursing Officer will also be a strategic partner to the CEO, providing clinical expertise and leadership across all aspects of patient care. Applicants must have a current, unencumbered RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 3 years' medical-surgical nursing experience, previous hospital supervisory experience, and a proven track record of improving clinical quality and patient outcomes are essential. The role requires a strong understanding of current trends in rehabilitation medicine, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and a passion for patient-centered care. The Chief Nursing Officer will be involved in program development, innovation, and fostering a culture of education and evidence-based practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment are also necessary.
