Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team, providing exceptional legal representation and support to clients in family law matters. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong commitment to client service and a passion for litigation. Duties Represent clients in court for legal cases. Guide and support legal assistants and law clerks. Attend trials and court proceedings. Manage a regular schedule of hearings and court appearances. Evaluate and analyze evidence beneficial to clients. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates. Direct mediation sessions and offer constructive legal advice. Requirements Licensed to practice law in the state of VA. Detail-oriented with strong research and critical thinking skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Organized with the ability to manage time and multitask. Experienced in negotiation, debate, and persuasion techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse clientele. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in Virginia. Skills Strong advocacy and legal research skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in legal writing and documentation. Benefits Healthcare coverage, including dental and vision. 401K profit sharing contribution.
