This role involves providing care to women of childbearing age and newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing systems like CPN and Meditech.Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Post Partum:Care for women and newborns, ensuring safety and well-beingRecognize and manage workflow, processes, and policies within the unitAssess and identify risk factors related to various medical conditionsProvide discharge education and assess abnormal conditionsDeliver pain management, time management, and prioritize care based on patient needsConduct procedures such as circumcisionsRequirements of the Registered Nurse – Post Partum:BLS and NRP certificationsGraduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferredExperience in post-partum care and related nursing procedures
