Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of OB/GYN or vascular scanning experience and ARDMS registration in OB/OB-GYN. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program BLS certification required ARDMS registration required in OB and OB-GYN Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification preferred License required if applicable Responsibilities Outpatient maternal-fetal medicine clinic setting Performs specialized maternal-fetal ultrasound exams including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, fetal wellbeing, biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, and amniotic fluid assessments Also performs needle procedure guidance, maternal pelvic anatomy exams including transvaginal cervical assessment, and advanced 3D/4D diagnostic techniques Schedule consists of 4x9-hour shifts plus one 4-hour half-day on Friday Every other weekend and every other holiday required No on-call requirement Assists radiologist in performing invasive diagnostic techniques specialized to maternal-fetal ultrasound Provides standardization and training to residents on these exam types Consults with patients and evaluates contraindications such as medications, insufficient preparation, or inability/unwillingness to tolerate the procedure Performs ultrasound procedures under general or direct physician supervision as defined by the procedure Analyzes sonography findings throughout exams to ensure comprehensive data collection for physician interpretation Recognizes situations requiring direct radiologist observation of real-time scans Advises radiologist and referring OB provider of exam results and preliminary diagnostic findings Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-758502 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
