HVAC Technician
The HVAC Technician will diagnose, repair, and install residential heating and cooling systems. This role focuses on technical expertise, safety, and clear communication to ensure strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC issues and perform repairs
- Install HVAC equipment furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, components
- Perform maintenance and system tune-ups
- Follow safety codes and local regulations
- Communicate with customers and explain work clearly
Essential Skills & Requirements
- HVAC service and installation experience
- Troubleshooting and repair skills
- Mechanical and sheet metal abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
- 2+ years of residential HVAC experience
Additional Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Ability to work independently and adapt to schedule changes
- Commitment to safety and code compliance
- Professional, reliable work ethic
- NATE Certification (preferred)
- Experience with smart thermostats, home automation, and ductless mini-splits
- Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
