Responsibilities Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients. Your responsibilities would include: Transforming nonprofitclientfinancial departmentstohelp themmeettheir mission! Financialreporting formanagement andBoarddecisionmakingand presentations Recommendingandimplementingimprovements toaccounting, operations, internal controls,andcompliancepolicies andprocedures,supportingclient strategyand best practices Transactionalactivitiesincluding accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing),andpayroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close,andmaintainingworkpapers Analysisand datavisualization, budgeting andforecasting Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting Prepare for and manage annual audit Client and staff training opportunities Qualifications Passionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizations Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance 7-10 plus years accounting experience Experience working in a remote environment preferred Ability to manageand leadmultiple clients, work independently,and be responsiveon a timely basis Demonstrated strongMicrosoftExcel skills Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, andelectronic bill paysystems Non-profitaccounting,publicaccounting experience, and/or consulting experienceisa plusbut not required CPA certification is a plus Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus Our part-time employees are expected to work during normal business hours to best serve our clients YPTC Offers A Best Place to Work! Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for various bonuses. A professional development reimbursement and technology stipend are also provided on an annual basis.
