Automotive Master Technician

In addition to being our most seasoned diagnosticians, Automotive Master Technicians at Rad Air also serve as leaders and mentors within the bays, directing the flow of a shop's repair work and acting as a knowledge leader for less experienced technicians.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

• Diagnose check engine lights and other malfunction indicator light issues.
• Perform advanced electrical testing and repairs.
• Perform digital vehicle inspections and diagnostics to address client concerns.
• Document results of inspections and diagnostics using TekMetric shop software.
• Provide mentorship and training to less experienced technicians during day-to-day operations.
• Service vehicles as directed by replacing/repairing parts, or performing regular and preventative maintenance services.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Service Manager to ensure completion of repair work meets client expectations.
• Utilize shop equipment to perform fluid exchanges, wheel/tire balancing, ADAS calibrations, and alignments.
• Observe and follow all necessary safety guidelines and regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain Rad Air's clean workspace and shop standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) years experience as an automotive technician.
• Clean driving record.

Additional Qualifications:

• An Associate's degree in Automotive Technology is highly desired but not a requirement.
• ASE certifications are highly desirable but not a requirement.
