Material Handler

Specialty Manufacturing is looking for a proactive and ambitious candidate to join our team. The Material Handler position reports directly to our Plant Manager and also partners with team members across other production areas. Here's what you'll do:

• Assist in coordinating the workflow including movement of parts.
• Removal and disposal of chips from machines.
• Material preparation organization.
• Put new inventory in warehouse location and complete corresponding transactions into the computer.
• Operate equipment to wash and clean production parts to specifications.
• Responsibility for some equipment maintenance is required, including monitoring machine oil levels.
• Basic cleaning and organizing.

Here's what we're looking for:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Forklift experience/license a plus
• Must be able to read, write and have basic computer skills
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to maneuver/lift 50 pounds continuously

Compensation and Benefits Expected Compensation Range: Hourly, non-exempt- $18- $21 Specialty Manufacturing is providing the compensation range that the company, in good faith, believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
