Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in emergency room (ER) care in Lawton, Oklahoma, is needed to provide high-quality, compassionate, and timely care within a busy, 36-bed Emergency Department that sees approximately 59,000 patients annually. The ER RN will perform rapid assessments, prioritize patient needs, and intervene promptly across a spectrum of emergent and urgent conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license); current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings.
• Preferred/Required within timeframe after hire: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department with frequent exposure to trauma and critical illness. Physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting are required throughout the shift. The RN will collaborate with a diverse healthcare team and emergency medical services to serve the Lawton community and surrounding areas.
