Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry

Felician University is presently seeking an academically qualified educator to serve as Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Natural Sciences. The Assistant/Associate Professor provides instruction in the fundamentals of the respective discipline, as well as incorporates real-world experience into the learning experience. Teaching responsibilities will include a traditional and, preferably, also an online educational environment, with Felician online certification required for the latter. Position Type: Full-time, 10-months, Exempt Department: School of Arts and Sciences Required Education: Ph.D. or terminal degree in Chemistry, or relevant field Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching in a related discipline at an institution of higher education; established record of related research and scholarship; demonstrated experience working with a multicultural and highly diverse student population; ability and willingness to successfully complete Felician University online certification; ability and willingness to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
