Warranty Analyst

Job Overview & Essential Functions Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Warranty Analyst. The Warranty Analyst administrators warranty, determining which repairs are warrantable. Receives and processes a full range of warranty claims, maintaining good vendor relations. This is a fully in office position at our KCMO location. Administers proper warranty, working in the best interest of the customer, dealership, and vendor. Works with Service Managers to ensure warranty is properly administered. Works with Service Managers, Advisors, Foremen, and Technicians, so that proper terminology is recorded on the repair orders. Follows-up with Service Managers to ensure all warranty parts are properly tagged and stored in the warranty holding area. Prepares electronic warranty claims from the repair orders and processes all carry in parts warranties. Prepares electronic warranty claims for DSFW customers. Maintains control of open claims, so that past‑due claims can be resolved. Works with Service Managers in the training of Foremen and Service Advisors on warranty coverage and updates. Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications Working knowledge of automotive warranty process. Minimum two years experience in related field. Computer literate, i.e. Microsoft Office computer skills. Must be detail‑oriented. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
