Corporate Legal Assistant

Summary: A Legal Assistant with American Food & Vending will assist the General Counsel with administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

• Provide executive level administrative support to the company's General Counsel.
• Report and work directly with General Counsel to keep things organized, maintain legal documents, contracts, meet deadlines for time sensitive issues.
• Conduct research to gather pertinent information and stay updated on relevant regulations.
• Take initiative to follow up on research pertinent to business requirements.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• An associate degree or a certificate in paralegal studies preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience in a law office or professional office setting required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail, diligent in composing, typing, and proofing correspondence, contracts, and corporate documents.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, manage, and maintain electronic and paper files.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Adobe, and Excel
• Flexibility to adjust hours and work as necessary to meet operating and business needs.
