Hospital Nutrition Aide

Encompass Health seeks a Hospital Nutrition Aide to support patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll prepare, assemble, and deliver meals that align with prescribed diets and clinical nutrition plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses. Working closely with dietitians, nurses, and dietary staff, you’ll verify diet orders, respect allergies and cultural needs, and ensure accurate, timely tray delivery. You’ll uphold strict food safety and infection control standards, maintain clean and organized work areas, and provide friendly, patient-centered service.
