MuleSoft - Sr. Technical Consultant (Remote)

Agile Execution: Proven ability to deliver user stories within a Scrum team, ensuring alignment with API-led

architecture.

Requirements Mapping: Skill in translating functional requirements into technical specifications and mapping

documents.

2. Core MuleSoft Development

• Service Build: Proficiency in developing APIs using RAML, REST, and SOAP protocols within Anypoint Studio.
• Data Transformation: Expert use of DataWeave 2.0 for mapping complex hierarchical and flat data structures.
• Language Foundation: Strong understanding of Java fundamentals and integration-specific logic (JSON, XML).

3. API Design & Connectivity

• API Management: Experience configuring policies (Rate Limiting, Security) and SLA tiers in API Manager.
• Connector Usage: Proficiency with standard connectors (Salesforce, Database, File) and Object Store.
• Connectivity Logic: Implementation of error handling frameworks, choice routers, and flow control patterns.

4. DevOps, Testing & Security

• Automation: Experience using Maven, Git, and Jenkins for automated builds and CI/CD pipeline adherence.
• MUnit: Mandatory skill in creating unit and integration tests to ensure production stability and code coverage.
• Security: Implementation of OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, and secure property configurations (encryption).

5. Execution & Consulting Skills

• Troubleshooting: Ability to debug flows, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve mapping or connectivity errors.
• Documentation: Commitment to maintaining high-quality API specs, technical design notes, and mapping logs.
• Stakeholder Focus: Strong communication skills for presenting solutions to technical leads and business

stakeholders.
