Registered Nurse Cardiac Care
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:4507:15 Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday Contract length: 1326 weeks Hours offered: 36 hours only
Minimum 2 years relevant acute care experience on a similar high-acuity/fast-paced unit Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIH (NIHSS) EKG testing required prior to start
Provide high-quality care to adult patients with cardiac and stroke conditions. Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythms. Manage IV therapy and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips as needed. Conduct pre/post procedure cardiac care related to devices and interventions. Administer oxygen and manage patients requiring high-flow oxygen or chronic BIPAP.
Orientation: 36 hours; availability required every day during week one Candidate must complete lab/testing within 48 hours after signing All RTO must be pre-approved; RTO after booking is not allowed
