What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Shift Lead, you ensure the success of the shift by balancing leadership with hands-on work.

• Team Leadership & Delegation: Coordinate, delegate, and supervise staff tasks to ensure timely execution.
• Active Operations: Actively participate in all daily activities, including food prep, general cleaning (dishes, sanitizing), stocking inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow during service.
• Customer Experience: Provide exceptional service, interact with customers, and quickly resolve issues for a positive dining experience.
• Training & Mentoring: Train, mentor, and motivate team members to uphold high standards in service, quality, and cleanliness.
• Financial Oversight: Accurately handle and reconcile all shift payment transactions and manage cash.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the saladbar is clean and organized, strictly upholding all health and safety regulations.

What You Will Bring: Qualifications

• Certification: Must possess a current, valid ServSafe Manager certification.
• Experience: Previous experience in a team lead, supervisor, or management role (food service experience is a plus!).
• Communication: An outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication and active listening skills.
• Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.
• Availability: Must be consistently available to work both days and evenings, including weekends.
