Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and security during procedures while providing clear and empathetic explanations of processes
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure outstanding diagnostic imaging outcomes
• Supervise the operation and upkeep of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately maintain documentation and patient records within the electronic medical framework
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field preferred
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is a plus

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Preferred: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
