Electronics Technician

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Ocean Projects Department (N9) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience implementing basic electrical concepts such as currents, voltages, and resistances in everyday work. Experience investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems pertaining to the design, installation, maintenance, or repair of the equipment or subsystems assigned. Experience identifying spare parts requirements, preparing supply documents, following funding guidelines, and ensuring that all equipment requirements are identified. Experience reducing technical engineering data to assemble forms, conducting subsequent analyses and assessments, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations in a readily understandable form. GS-08 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing and interpreting circuit diagrams and electrical schematics with the help of a team leader or supervisor. Experience utilizing basic terms and standard tools by following required instructions to perform measurements. Experience identifying common electronic components and using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons. Experience implementing the basic need for inventory controls while under direct supervision to properly check items in or out of systems.
