Travel Registered Nurse OR

You will be working as a Travel Registered Nurse in the Operating Room with opportunity to assist in various surgical procedures. This position requires strong experience with a robust total joint program, including hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries.

Job Overview

• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, weekdays, 0645-1715, call shifts required weekday nights and weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Years of Experience: 3 Years
• Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)

About the Unit

• OR has 4 rooms 3 OR suites and 1 procedure room
• Charge nurse available 24/7
• Common types of cases include total joints, sports medicine, general cases, and ophthalmic procedures
• Orientation consists of 3 shifts with a preceptor in the department after general hospital orientation
• Scrubs are provided
• Emergency Medical Records system is EPIC

Requirements

• Must have strong experience in similar ORs
• RN must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CST certification is highly preferred
• Prior travel experience is appreciated
