Job Overview Allyn International is looking for a full-time ON-SITE Logistics Specialist in Horn Lake, MS. The role involves managing outbound domestic and international logistics, ensuring cost reduction and compliance with regulatory requirements. Location Horn Lake, MS Work Schedule 40 hours, On-Site Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full-Time; Salaried Exempt. Physical Demands Sitting, typing, walking around a large warehouse. Actively seek and capture savings opportunities and added value opportunities; research and offer optimal transportation modes, routings, equipment, and frequency. Complete all compliance documentation, maintaining 100% compliance with export processes and domestic shipment regulatory requirements. Execute domestic and international small parcel shipments on an as-needed basis, including responding to expedited orders. Verify all picks have correct ship-to information, serial numbers (if needed), and shipment method; print packing slips as required. Verify that all shipments scheduled for pickup have left the facility, and report discrepancies. Manage DOT and other transport regulations compliance, including permitting, oversize/overscale, and Hazmat. Create and review hazmat and dangerous goods documentation to ensure compliance with packaging, labeling, placards, transport mode, and other relevant regulations. Provide Dangerous Goods classification and advise Allyn and client personnel of restrictions and regulations for specific items. Ensure compliance with IATA, DOT, and other transport regulations in additional global regions. Maintain online tracking and metrics tools. Eliminate or minimize risk exposure for Allyn and customers. File and follow through on all freight claims. Train new employees and clients, if needed. Participate in client-offered training to support each functional competency. Provide excellent customer service to Allyn customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
