Pay Range: $40.00–$45.00/hour Job Summary The occupational therapy assistant performs patient‑related activities. Services may include, but are not limited to, purposeful activities or interventions to maximize the independence and maintain the health of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition. Major Duties and Critical Tasks Assist the occupational therapist when performing tests, evaluations and complex treatment procedures. Observe, record and report to the therapist the condition, reactions and responses related to assigned duties. Assist the therapist in consulting with patients, family members and other health‑care professionals as appropriate. Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment. Assist the occupational therapist with in‑service programs and other meetings as assigned. Education and Experience Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification.
