Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, apply radiation protection and ALARA principles, and provide patient care essential to nuclear medicine procedures. The role requires professional judgment in procedure performance and the ability to recognize and respond to patient conditions requiring immediate action.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an approved program in Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent training.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or certified with the Society of Nuclear Medicine, or eligible.
• New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license required.
• BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain BLS per facility policy upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Prior travel experience required. Local-only candidates will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in hospital settings.
• Familiarity with a full range of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging modalities.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 40 hours per week.
• Must follow facility policies regarding payment vendor practices.
