Position Overview

Trusted Results Therapy Group is seeking a professional, highly organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Quality & Compliance Manager to join our team.

The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the organization's quality assurance and compliance program across all locations. This position serves as a central resource for maintaining operational and regulatory compliance, identifying organizational risk, monitoring documentation and service quality, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies, payer requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

The Quality & Compliance Manager will partner closely with clinical, administrative, and executive leadership to establish consistent standards, identify trends, address deficiencies, and strengthen quality across the organization.

This position plays an important role in protecting our clients, supporting our team, reducing organizational risk, and ensuring Trusted Results Therapy Group is prepared for audits, payer reviews, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and continued growth.

Essential Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Leadership over quality-management functions and employees such as compliance reviews, licensing, provider qualification, post-payment reviews, and incident management.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program across all locations, including standardized metrics, audits, monitoring, and reporting.
• Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation and operational processes to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
• Identify trends, gaps, deficiencies, and potential areas of risk.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans and quality improvement initiatives.
• Track quality and compliance metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership.
• Develop standardized quality and compliance processes across all locations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance quality, consistency, and operational effectiveness.

Compliance Oversight

• Monitor organizational compliance with applicable federal and state requirements, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies and procedures.
• Support organizational compliance with applicable CARF standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory and payer changes that may affect organizational operations.
• Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures as needed.
• Maintain appropriate compliance documentation and records.
• Coordinate internal compliance reviews and support external audits, payer reviews, accreditation activities, and regulatory reviews.
• Identify compliance concerns and work collaboratively with leadership to develop appropriate corrective actions.
• Promptly escalate significant compliance concerns to leadership.

Incident & Risk Management

• Maintain an organized system for tracking incidents, complaints, and other quality or risk-related concerns.
• Review and monitor incidents to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify recurring operational or clinical risks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Maintain appropriate records related to investigations, findings, and corrective actions.
• Escalate significant incidents in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Partner with leadership to reduce organizational risk and strengthen preventive practices.

HIPAA & Privacy

• Support organizational compliance with HIPAA and other applicable client privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Monitor privacy-related practices and identify potential areas of risk.
• Assist with the investigation and documentation of privacy concerns or potential violations.
• Develop and support staff education regarding confidentiality, protected health information (PHI), and appropriate information handling.
• Collaborate with leadership on corrective actions related to privacy or confidentiality concerns.
• Promote a culture of confidentiality, professionalism, and responsible information management.

Policy & Procedure Management

• Develop, review, update, and maintain organizational policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain a centralized process for policy review, approval, and version control.
• Ensure policies and procedural updates are communicated to appropriate team members.
• Monitor organizational compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Identify areas where policies, procedures, or workflows require clarification or improvement.
• Support the standardization of policies and processes across locations as the organization continues to grow.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this position will be evaluated through measurable quality, compliance, and organizational outcomes, which may include:

• Timely completion of scheduled audits and compliance reviews.
• Compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements.
• Timely completion of policy and procedure reviews and updates.
• Effective identification, documentation, and resolution of compliance concerns.
• Completion and monitoring of corrective action plans.
• Reduction in recurring compliance or quality findings.
• Consistency of quality and compliance processes across organizational locations.
• Timely and accurate reporting of quality and compliance metrics to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality, compliance, operations, clinical administration, risk management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Experience with healthcare documentation, regulatory requirements, audits, or quality assurance processes.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and implementing healthcare policies and procedures.
• Relevant certification in healthcare quality, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, identify deficiencies, and develop corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and patient privacy principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze information, recognize trends, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and executive leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a growing organization.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, quality management, compliance, or a related field.
• Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, therapy, or outpatient healthcare.
• Experience supporting quality and compliance functions across multiple locations.
• Experience with CARF accreditation standards or accreditation readiness.
• Experience working with healthcare payers, audits, or regulatory reviews.
