Onsite Health TechnicianMedcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Tucson, Arizona.This is an excellent opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to transition out of traditional EMS, ambulance, or 911 work while continuing to use their clinical and emergency-response skills in a hands-on healthcare environment.You'll provide direct patient care, treat workplace injuries and illnesses, support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, and gain valuable experience in occupational health — all while enjoying a consistent four-day workweek with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off.Compensation & ScheduleStarting pay: $28.00/hour, with additional earning potential based on experience.This is a full-time, four-day workweek:Wednesday: 1:00 PM–11:00 PMThursday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PMFriday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PMSaturday: 11:00 AM–9:00 PMSunday–Tuesday: OffWhy You'll Love This OpportunityStarting at $28.00/hour, with additional compensation based on experienceFull-time position with a consistent Wednesday–Saturday scheduleThree consecutive days off every weekOpportunity to transition from traditional EMS/911 into occupational healthContinue using your patient assessment and emergency-response skills without working on an ambulanceHands-on experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, case management, and return-to-workEmployer-based clinic environmentComprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurancePaid time off401(k) with company matchEducation reimbursementExtensive training and ongoing supportOpportunities for career growth throughout MedcorAbout the RoleAs an Onsite Health Technician, you'll provide hands-on patient care while supporting the daily operations of Medcor's employer-based occupational health clinic.You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership, client staff, local medical providers, and outside healthcare partners to provide high-quality care to employees.Your responsibilities will include:Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocolsProviding first aid and emergency response when neededSupporting workers' compensation case managementFacilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programsMonitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providersConducting pre-employment and post-offer screeningsSupporting onsite employee health and wellness initiativesDocumenting patient care using Medcor's electronic medical record (EMR)Maintaining accurate and timely medical chartsProviding exceptional service to employees and client leadershipBuilding strong relationships with employees, client contacts, medical providers, and the Medcor teamSupporting the overall daily operations of the onsite clinicWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure required for the positionCurrent CPR/BLS certificationStrong patient assessment and clinical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical recordsAbility to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bagStrong customer-service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with clinical and operational teamsProfessional, dependable, and patient-focused approach to careIt's a Plus If You HavePrevious occupational health or worksite clinic experienceEmergency medicine or EMS experienceWorkers' compensation or case management experienceExperience working independently in a clinical environmentOccupational health experience is a plus, but it is not required.
