Environmental Manager - Plant

Overview The position will provide leadership and strategic direction for all environmental engineering, compliance, and sustainability activities for a large manufacturing plant and three distribution centers with up to 25% travel when needed. The role reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities Direct supervision of a large team including three Environmental Engineers, an Environmental Technician, and an hourly environmental team. Technical expertise required in all areas of air (permitting including Title V, PSD/NSR permits), water, and waste management. Lead and manage a complex environmental program at the plant level and expand to distribution centers. Qualifications The key to this position is having proven experience managing a complex environmental program at a plant level and managing environmental professionals.
