Remote Mental Health Therapist (Part-Time, CALIFORNIA License)

Moona Health is onboarding outstanding Mental Health Therapists. On our platform, we support both full-time and part-time providers. Moona will help you provide evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) over telehealth to many different types of patients. We help you build your practice by providing support on everything from insurance credentialing and claim submission to patient marketing. This lets you maximize your time treating patients. We are looking for Therapists who are passionate about patient outcomes and excited to join a fast-growing, mission-driven platform. Focus on Patients, Not Paperwork — Our amazing administrative team supports all facets of your work including insurance billing, customer support, intake paperwork, insurance credentialing, and assisting you in coordinating care with other providers. Key Responsibilities Conduct weekly telehealth sessions with patients using an evidence‑based, patient‑centered approach to sleep therapy. Demonstrate strong clinical and counseling skills, leading with empathy and kindness. Help patients get to the root of their health concerns to create sustainable behavior changes rather than taking a short‑term fix approach. Serve patients with high standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics, with the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality. Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in CBT‑I approaches and modalities. Complete session documentation (including clinical notes, patient communication, and care team follow‑up messages) in a timely manner. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post‑graduate clinical experience, ideally in cognitive‑behavioral therapy (CBT). We provide comprehensive CBT‑I training for candidates new to this area. Licensure: Active, unrestricted license in CALIFORNIA (Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or other qualifying licensure). At this time, we are not able to hire those with a limited practice license or individuals requiring supervision for licensure.
