Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every other weekend required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Accurately document patient information and care activities within the electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards of practice throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
