The position requires expertise in obstetric emergencies, triage over the phone, and responding to patient inquiries using electronic medical records systems. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting ASAP, with a focus on outpatient obstetric and gynecological services. Job Details Position: Labor and Delivery RN Location: Richland, WA Certifications: WA/Compact RN license required within 2 weeks; pending license is acceptable as long as application has been submitted Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of experience preferred in L&D or a related setting; 0 years minimum, with First-timers accepted Education Requirements: RN license in good standing, valid within the required state or compact license Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week Required Skills and Knowledge: Experience with obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension (Gestational Hypertension & Preeclampsia); knowledge of obstetric triage, EPIC electronic medical record system, and gynecological outpatient care Additional Responsibilities: Appropriately triage over the phone, respond to inquiries via EPIC and voice message, perform clinic duties related to maternity and gynecology care, include documentation and patient education Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient obstetrics and gynecology, blood glucose monitoring, pelvic exams, fetal monitoring, medication reconciliation, and patient teaching Float: Float rotation may be required Submittal Requirement: Include three available interview times upon submission; answer if the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility and provide references covering the last 1 year (6 months for CNA roles) Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/21/2026 Benefits Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1296881.
