- Administer preoperative and postoperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients.
- Assist with intraoperative procedures and monitor patient vital signs meticulously.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document and communicate patient status and clinical findings accurately.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols throughout all procedures.
- Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care instructions.
- Valid RN license with current state certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative care.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
