CT Technologist II

Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a CT Technologist II for our Florence Radiology department at Florence Hospital. The position is full time, 36 hours per week on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on producing high‑quality radiographs and CT scans for patient interpretation and diagnosis. Responsibilities Operate all equipment safely, efficiently, and in compliance with medical, state, and federal safety standards. Calculate and apply appropriate radiation exposure factors. Complete patient screening prior to and during the scan, ensuring ongoing awareness of patient condition. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of equipment; comply with BSI precautions. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide proper care and safety. Apply proficiency to all CT procedures, providing diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Use computer systems in compliance with HIPAA guidelines; obtain, record, and charge patient data accurately. Review images for high quality; assist with QC, QA, QI, or ACR processes as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. ARRT (R)(CT) Registered. Current CPR certification. State Licensure Kentucky KBMIRT Radiation Operator's License – Radiography (Temporary or Permanent) Associate must have 12 months from the issuance of a temporary license to obtain ARRT(R). Indiana ISDH License – Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Student Permit Associate must have 6 months from the issuance of a Student Permit to obtain ARRT(R). Specialized Knowledge Basic knowledge or experience in other radiology modalities. Effective communication skills. Proven competency in injecting intravenous contrast agents. Advanced knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy. Experience Adequate clinical experience from an approved program.
