Zax Creamery and Coffee in Jasper is hiring team members to join our crew!

Whether you're scooping ice cream or creating coffee drinks, you'll play a key role in our Jasper family who help us craft deliciousness for our amazing community!

• Previous barista or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard recipes
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• High integrity and a strong attendance record
• Excellent communication and a willingness to learn

We have shift windows designed to fit your lifestyle. Whether you need part-time hours or a full-time career, find a shift or combination of shifts that will work for you below:

• Store Opener: 4:50 AM – 11:30 AM
• Early Morning: 6:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Mid-Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Afternoon: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• All-Day (Double): 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Your daily mission will include:

• Hospitality & Accuracy: Be the face of Zax by greeting every guest with a genuine smile. You’ll manage the POS (Point of Sale) system with total accuracy, ensuring every transaction is as smooth and sweet as our treats. You’ll play a key role in making life a little sweeter for everyone in our community!
• Craft Greatness: Master the art of the perfect pour—from pulling precise espresso shots, steaming silky milk for pouring latte art, to scooping our award-winning ice cream, and preparing our menu items exactly to recipe standards. Consistency is our secret ingredient for ensuring our fans enjoy the pure deliciousness they love in every single sip!
• Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary store that you’re proud to work in and be a part of. You’ll follow all health and food safety standards to keep our community safe and our space inviting.
• Team Up: Work collaboratively with a supportive team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where we always have each other’s backs to keep our orders and positivity flowing.
• The Physical Side: Be comfortable standing/walking for the duration of a shift, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks like pulling espresso shots, scooping ice cream, cleaning, and restocking.

• Adaptable: You thrive in a fun, fast-paced setting and have the flexibility to work mornings, days, afternoons, and 2 Saturday shifts per month and/or holidays as needed.
