Production Tech 1As a Production Tech 1 at Pressure & VM Solutions, you will partner with Andover Production. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor.Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assembliesDetermines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagramsTests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systemsMay complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testingRequires soldering skills and possibly mechanical aptitude skillsAs required, prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problemsMay assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipmentSkills:Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required1+ year of related experienceMay require experience in testing digital and/or analog systemsAbility to read drawings and use measurement instruments1+ year of related experiencePhysical Demands and Working Conditions:Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the timeFrequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder levelRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder levelMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understandMust be able to exchange accurate informationOperates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environmentConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machineryAbility to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatNoise level in the work environment is usually average
