About This Role

We're hiring Lead Teachers who love inspiring young hearts, nurturing learning, and shaping the lives of children in a Christ-centered classroom environment.

• Give the children under my care my full attention.
• Write, post, and implement a DAP lesson plan for my age group
• Develop and maintain a DAP classroom schedule for my age group.
• Use the Brightwheel app to report for each child in the classroom a record of activities, nap times, medication, and any other necessary information.
• Nurture each child to grow and reach their appropriate developmental milestones
• Be aware of and follow all laws and requirements set by DCY and center policies.
• Be in open communication with parents, teachers, and the director

Have you...

• Experience working in a DCY-licensed childcare center as a lead teacher with preschool, 2's, or toddlers
• Completed all requirements for a childcare employee designated by DCY
• Completed or be willing to complete any required training and professional development: DCY orientation, CPR/First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse

• Completed a degree or are working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study
