We partner with our local schools to provide Speech Language Pathology (SLP ) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Olympia, WA. 

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs. 

Job Details

• Full-time opportunity with a consistent 37.5-hour work week
• 2026–2027 academic year (August through May/June)
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• School-based assignment serving students across PreK–12 grade levels
• Responsibilities include providing direct therapy services, conducting evaluations, collaborating with educational teams, and overseeing case management
• Guaranteed paid hours that include direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, and other administrative responsibilities
• On-site, in-person position within a supportive school environment
• Well-balanced caseloads designed to promote quality student outcomes
• Ongoing collaboration and support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds team
• Competitive pay of $55–$65+ per hour , with estimated weekly earnings of $2062–$2,437+

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
• National License: ASHA 
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
• CF-SLP placement may be available
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
