Litigation Paralegal

Position Title: Litigation Paralegal The Litigation Paralegal plays a pivotal role in supporting attorneys within a dynamic legal environment. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in communication and organization. The paralegal will manage multiple cases, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and deadlines are met. Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach are essential for success in this high-pressure role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with attorneys and will have a passion for litigation. A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism is expected. Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities Support approximately five attorneys with case management and documentation Communicate regularly with attorneys regarding case status and updates Follow up on medical records and ensure all details are managed Handle calendaring, proofreading, and formatting legal documents Conduct document reviews and manage eDiscovery processes Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as required Maintain accurate billable hours and ensure compliance with court filing procedures Provide proactive communication to attorneys to keep them informed Litigation Paralegal Requirements 5-10+ years of litigation experience as a paralegal Defense + Trial experience is necessary Knowledge of filing procedures in state and federal courts Experience with document review and eDiscovery processes A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required Experience in environmental litigation, catastrophic, personal injury, or general and commercial litigation is preferred Familiarity with iManage is preferred Benefits Medical coverage with options for PPO and high deductible plans Dental and vision insurance available 401k plan with employer matching and profit sharing 21 days of paid time off, increasing after five years 10 paid holidays each year Parking provided at no cost Backup care services through Bright Horizons Access to free financial advising #J-18808-Ljbffr Boutique Recruiting
